Robert E. Mitchell, M.D. - Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Mitchell is a dedicated father to his six year old son Cameron. They enjoy playing ball, bike riding, bed-time stories and especially "frog hunting" together. Dr. Mitchell's dedication as a provider is not only demonstrated to his son but through his committment to providing outstanding care to his patients as well. Upon completion of his surgical training, Dr. Mitchell was extended the priveledge of training in every aspect of cosmetic plastic surgery with some of the nations' most talented and respected plastic surgeons in beautiful Manhattan, New York. While at Manhattan Eye and Ear Hospital, Dr. Mitchell gained extensive operative skill and knowledge in the delicate surgeries involving facial rejuvenation. He quickly excelled in this focus of cosmetic surgery and holds a keen interest in cosmetic enhancement of the face, nose and eyes. Dr. Mitchell is excited to bring his comprehensive knowledge and skills back to his hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma and looks forward to the opportunity of providing Tulsa area patients with the highest quality surgical skill and patient care.

Susan Miller - Clinical Director

Robert E. Mitchell, M.D. and Aesthetic Surgery of Tulsa are proud to announce the acquisition of Susan Miller to our staff. Susan is the new Clinical Director for Luminous Medical Spa.

Susan has worked in the field of Clinical Aesthetics for 7 years and specializes in all types of Laser Therapy for the skin. She has extensive training and knowledge in the area of skin care and rejuvenation. She specializes in Photo Rejuvenation, Laser Hair Removal and Fractional Ablative Therapy for the face or the entire body.

Susan completed her Aesthetics Degree in Fort Smith, Arkansas in 2003. She has also received on-going clinical laser training in Chicago, Dallas, Houston and Scottsdale. Susan has completed over 6 years of on- the- job training under the direction of a Board Certified Dermatologist and is a Certified Laser Technician. It is our plan to continue her extensive knowledge by sending Susan to multiple educational conferences and seminars.

Susan possesses a broad knowledge of many skin care lines. She knows what works and has a passion to show you what will fulfill your every skincare need. It is her desire to stay on the cutting edge of all things skincare.

Elissa Caswell - Medical Assistant

Elissa is the Medical Assistant for Aesthetic Surgery of Tulsa. She joined Dr. Mitchell's team after extensive years of pre-medical education and customer service. Elissa assists Dr. Mitchell with in-office procedures, pre and post-operative patient medical care, and in-patients within the hospital. She works closely with each patient to ensure his or her every expectation is met and exceeded. She enjoys working beside Dr.Mitchell and the staff of Aesthetic Surgery of Tulsa. Elissa strives to maintain a cheerful and organized office structure. She looks forward to continued years working as a valued part of the team to further her knowledge in the medical field.

Personally, Elissa is a full time pre-medical student and plans to apply to the University of Oklahoma Medical School to continue her pursuit of a medical degree. She recently moved back to Tulsa from The University of Oklahoma Norman campus and currently attends night and weekend classes at Tulsa Community College. Elissa spends her limited spare time studying at Starbucks and spending time with friends and family.

Kailei Connelly - Front Office Coordinator

Kailei is the Front Office Coordinator for Aesthetic Surgery of Tulsa. She joined Dr. Mitchell's team after many years in the medical and dental industry. Kailei coordinates the schedule for Dr. Mitchell, his office staff, and Luminous Medical Spa. She is our product specialist and enjoys getting to visit with patients about all of the services offered at Aesthetic Surgery of Tulsa. Kailei is the voice of the practice and is happy to answer any and all questions for current and prospective patients! She also helps to coordinate all events held in the office, and in the community, to ensure that they run smoothly and efficiently. Kailei is an invaluable part of Dr. Mitchell's team and provides the highest level of customer service offered in Oklahoma.

Personally, Kailei is married to Bradley Connelly who is a member of the surgery team at St. John Medical Center. They live on 20 acres of beautiful land and enjoy being outdoors as much as possible with their wonderful dog Shyann. Kailei is an active part of a very successful cake business with her mom called K.C. Cakes & Bakes and enjoys modeling for local community events.
